Merely a Couple Days till the Smoking Exile

December 29th, 2009

All Right, Saint Louis has accepted a smoking ban for all public building, with only a few exemptions. I’m so sick and tired of my rights vanishing, I’m sick. I don’t understand the reason non-smokers have such a assertive judgement on what we smokers want to do. I comprehend that smoking is nasty, but I made a conscience selection when I began smoking, alert to the fact it was bad. Just because non-smokers want me to give it up, will not mean that it will happen. Smoking in restaurants has been a freedom, but most restaurants include a special smoking room. If non-smokers prefer not to to inhale the smoke, don’t sit down in the smoking room, you are not coerced to sit in that section. And as well as the employees of these bars that say they are distressed by second hand smoke, what a joke. I held jobs in the service industry for more than 10 years, and I know that most of thefellow workers were smokers.  Dealing with people, if anything, compels you to smoke.  Personally, I have never heard one non-smoking co-worker ever protest about smoking while working in the smoking room. Putting a smoking restriction in restaurants and bars, ultimately will only save me money, for I won’t go out after the January 1st.

All I have to have for Christmas: Smokes!

December 18th, 2009

I have concluded this christmas to ask for easy presents that my wife can pick up competently for me. My selection, as always, is my well-beloved stogie from Famous-smokes.net. She won’t even have to take leave of our condo, she can go on the web (I have all my favorites sites saved) and throw in the order there. As far as other gifts, she can head over to the nearest store and pick out a gift. She says to me every year that I am the most baffling person to shop for. But we have been together for almost 15 years! And if she doesn’t know the things I admire by now, I just don’t know. I constantly say every Christmas, “get me smokes”, I smoke 1 or 2 per day, and that adds up. I own a humidor for holding my smokes, “what’s that for?” my love says. Well my love, it’s to keep my stogies alive. So, if you get me some for christmas I can hold them in the humidor for a couple months and pull a cigar when I am wishing to savor one. Although I have to say, I got blessed last year, my love bought me a lighter that was ingraved with my initials. The prior year, she got me a fishing pole, without thinking I said I wanted to go fishing again someday. Well, I went fishing once in two years, but guess what, I still puff 1-2 smokes a day. In the end what do I want for the holiday this year? I want Cigars, and whatever else would just be an additional enjoyment.

Cigar: Facts for the average stogie smoker

November 18th, 2009

The simplest method of identifying cigars is by the method in which they are made. Cigars are either rolled by hand, or manufactured by machines. The novice smoker may be tempted to start by trying those machine made brands sold in Drug Stores, such as Garcia Vega. However, the Novice Smoker should consider spending a few more pennies and moving up to hand rolled cigars, which are sold on the internet or at a local tobacco retailer.

Aficiando Vs Connoisseurs
MostIndividual cigar smokers have their own unique tastes, and have their own individual bugeting. Those who like smoking several cigars per day may need an “everyday” cigar that is inexpensive. Therefore, the taste and cost of machine made cigars can be very appealing to some smokers. However, to the aspiring or experienced connoisseurs, the ones who enjoy an occasional cigar as a special treat, the hand rolled cigar is worth every dime.
